A quick transparency update: I’m happy to share that I’ve recently started working with D64 — Zentrum für Digitalen Fortschritt, a large German digital rights membership organization.
As part of a German government funding program focused on public interest AI, D64 hosts a process to create a Code of Conduct for democratic AI, which is about how charitable organizations and civil society use AI (D64’s blog post in German).
This is an exciting and important space, and I’m very happy to be on board to be an advisor for this process. We’re just getting started there, more updates once I have more to share.
