Working with multiple foundations and think tanks on issues surrounding digital society, smart cities, AI, governance, tech policy. This is the main part of my work.

Co-founder of ThingsCon, a non-profit to advocate for a responsible IoT, global community of IoT practitioners, and event platform.

Getting Tech Right, an independent research project that explores issues around how technology shapes our society and how to think about these issues better — and outputs a podcast and a book.

Setting up the Berlin Institute for Smart Cities and Civil Rights, a new initiative to help cities build knowledge and democratic governance that will protect their citizens from any adverse impact of smart city technologies.

From 2019 to 2021 I'm an industry PhD supervisor for the OpenDoTT research program on responsible IoT. OpenDoTT is an EU-funded joint program by the University of Dundee and Mozilla Foundation.
