Working with multiple foundations and think tanks on issues surrounding smart cities, AI, governance, tech policy.

Chair and co-founder of ThingsCon, a non-profit to advocate for a responsible IoT, global community of IoT practitioners, and event platform.

Setting up the Berlin Institute for Smart Cities and Civil Rights, a new initiative to help cities build knowledge and democratic governance that will protect their citizens from any adverse impact of smart city technologies.

From 2019 to 2021 I'm an industry PhD supervisor for the OpenDoTT research program on responsible IoT. OpenDoTT is an EU-funded joint program by the University of Dundee and Mozilla Foundation.
