There’s a great interview on Elektrischer Reporter with Austrian writer Peter Glaser. The interview (as well as his bio) is in German, the links below are English. Peter is one of those authors who really get it, who really know what the interface of technology and culture is about. It may serve as an indicator to illustrate this that he was awarded the Ingeborg Bachmann literature award and co-founded Chaos Computer Club (CCC).
Peter talks about the radical changes Kraftwerk brought about, the near-religious experience of his first “hello world” on his dad’s TV screen, and about the advent of the internet. If you are interested in tech culture – which as a reader of this blog I assume you are – and happen to speak German, check it out.
